CGM Reviews: Dishonored: The Brigmore Witches

Added: 19.08.2013 22:19 | 25 views | 0 comments

The way Bethesda is taking on DLC is also a refreshing touch, focusing on an intertwining story told from the perspective of the antagonist, Daud. Arkane have managed to build an already realized world out even more, presenting new and exciting locations along with some that feel familiar. The Brigmore Witches follows up from where The Knife of Dunwall left off. Even allowing players who played both to import the saves bringing in money, tools and weapons they may have collected along the way.

Review: Dishonored: The Brigmore Witches - [Save/Continue]

Added: 18.08.2013 11:19 | 30 views | 0 comments

Jacob Ross at Save/Continue writes: "While The Brigmore Witches carries along its own unique branding, it could just as well be called The Knife of Dunwall Part 2, as it represents a direct narrative continuation from its downloadable predecessor. If you were kind enough to read my review, youll realize straight away why that is a very good thing indeed."

DLC Review: Stirring the Pot in Dishonored: The Brigmore Witches - Push Square

Added: 17.08.2013 15:19 | 28 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "Dishonoreds latest DLC completes raspy-voiced assassin Dauds story, continuing from previous add-on The Knife of Dunwall, as he pursues the mysterious Brigmore Witches and their leader, Delilah. Of course, if youve played through the original game, youll have some idea as to how Dauds tale comes to an end. As such, the real draw of this content is to add further depth to the gloomy universe that Arkane Studios has created, and to give you an excuse to stab a few more people in the throat."

Forbes - 'Dishonored: The Brigmore Witches' DLC - Review

Added: 16.08.2013 9:21 | 28 views | 0 comments

Forbes - Last year, the games writers here at Forbes selected Dishonored as the best game of 2012. And while the first DLC for the game left something to be desired, the second, The Knife of Dunwall, was a worthy edition to this unique video game. The third DLC for the game, The Brigmore Witches, is a welcome addition to the game.

Dishonored: The Brigmore Witches review: 'craft work | Polygon

Added: 14.08.2013 20:19 | 35 views | 0 comments

Polygon: "The Brigmore Witches ignores the tension and build-up that its predecessor established, both narratively and mechanically. Instead of continuing from where Knife left off tonally, Brigmore starts a few feet back and to the left, and it suffers until it manages to find design ideas to call its own. Brigmore does serve as a functional end to Dishonored, and there are worse things than to feel like just more of one of the best games of 2012. But after the consistent, clever redefinition of The Knife of Dunwall its disappointing to see this final chapter take so long to find itself."
